I am a fourth year history doctoral student at Southern Methodist University. I have worked in television, film, multimedia museum exhibits, and taught college level U.S. history with GIS mapping activities. I am interested in learning more about how GIS can help me advance my dissertation research - a comparison of the cultural formation of Mexican Americans in South Texas and Franco Americans of Northern Maine.
